A readymade factory can help a growing business start production months earlier than building from scratch. But the speed advantage disappears quickly if the property has compliance or structural gaps. Use this checklist during your evaluation.
Legal and approvals
- Clear land title and industrial zoning
- Approved building plan and occupancy certificate
- Fire NOC suited to your type of operations
- Pollution control consent where applicable
Structure and layout
- Clear height suitable for racking or overhead cranes
- Floor load capacity matched to your machinery
- Column spacing that supports your production layout
- Roof condition, insulation and natural ventilation
Utilities
Check sanctioned electrical load, transformer capacity, water supply, drainage and road access for heavy vehicles. Upgrading power after purchase can be slow and expensive.
Our team helps clients evaluate, customise and fit out readymade factories, including epoxy flooring, fire-fighting systems and office interiors, so the facility is production-ready from day one.
